Ko Talu Adults Only Vacations

We booked a room for 3 person two adults and a child, at the reception the rude staff told me that the reservation included only breakfast for the 10 year old child but not an extra bed and charged us extra 1000 bhat a night for a mattress on the floor of the room for him. The place is full of mosquito also in the room but thailand is full of them so ok ... The light from the window of the shower comes into the room forcing you to wake up. Even though they have a smoking option in the reservation you are not allowed to smoke anywhere but the reception area. The good things are the cool swimming pool the location and the size of the room.

My favourite hotel when staying in Bangkok: Returning guest to my favorite hotel when staying in Bangkok and I stay here as often as I can. Staff are very friendly, eager to help and remember me from my previous visits, which is appreciated. Excellent hotel in great location in quieter part of Soi 4: main entrance is towards southern end of Soi 2 with a back entrance to southern end of Soi 4. It’s a short walk to Benchakitti park, or Nana Plaza and BTS stations. Soi 4 has a very good range of restaurants, bars and adult entertainment…plus other areas of interest are within walking distance. The rooms are spacious with a big comfortable bed and everything I want or need in a room. There is also a very good travel and transport service available in the lobby.

The that I got had mold and a live mushroom was growing out of one of the corners in the bathroom

I have stayed at Centre Point Silom several times. This time was the worst experience. Had to beg daily to get bath towels delivered. Sometimes they would only deliver one towel when 2 people were staying in the room. I spent 8 nights there. Upon checkout I was informed one of the towels was extra dirty. They proceeded to charge me 941 bhat which is like $30. US dollars. I also asked for a metered cab to the airport. The bellman interceded and was telling me he could get a fixed rate cab for 500. Bhat. When the meters cab is only three hundred bhat. The host began pushing the fixed taxi price as well. Felt extremely Scammed on my last day in Thailand. Will never visit or refer my friends to this hotel ever again!

Not a 4 star hotel, questionable 3 star and overpriced even with the permanent discount (making you think it's a good deal - it's not). Summary - very poor sound insulation, we spent our first night having to listen to the man next door and his local friend loudly spending the night together. We then encountered both men at breakfast, he had to pay for his friend who clearly wasn't staying there, not sure how common this is at this hotel. In any case, soundproofing should give everyone some privacy. - we found some used tissues under the bed that hadn't been cleaned - I'm honestly not sure what they were used for but coupled with point 1, it's not something I want to imagine during my stay. They should've been cleaned. - the furniture fittings were very poor needing better alignment, wardrobe doors couldn't be opened without also pulling out every other door and drawer because they rub together. This is particularly annoying as the doors trigger a wardrobe light which becomes hard to turn off when the doors don't close properly. - there are no plug sockets by the bed so charging your phone is difficult. - staff play videos and sounds from their phone throughout breakfast ruining the atmosphere. I asked one to turn it down. She just avoided me the rest of the time. According to my partner when I left breakfast alone she continued playing videos. - if you look at booking this place at any time in the future, you'll see their massive discount is on permanently.
