Villa Soro is a beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood with excellent access to both Gros and the Old Town—an easy, pleasant walk. Parking was simple and stress-free, which we really appreciated.
While the building and grounds are lovely, we found the restaurant/bar lacked atmosphere—more formal than cozy. The bed linens in our room felt a bit dated and could use refreshing to match the otherwise elegant setting. Breakfast was good quality and nicely presented, though not especially memorable.
Overall, a comfortable stay in a great location, but a few details could be improved to meet expectations at this level.

I like the location; the rooms were exceptionally clean ; the staff were multilingual and friendly.

Beautiful old grand dame hotel. Nicely done, General Manager was charming, attentive and made the rounds. Concierge needs more training. Not knowledgeable in different types of restaurants or museums. The GM told us about the Chillida outdoor museum. Terrific!!
