Hontoon Island State Park Adults Only Vacations

Staff and clean room. I’ve been multiple times to westgate and I refuse to stay anywhere else when in Orlando . Love it !

Stayed at Bluegreen in Unit 2 in late October. The resort completely exceeded expectations for a family of 3 travelling with a 2.5 yr old toddler. I did extensive research and photo scanning before booking and selected based on the pool area and room sizing and was still surprised at how fantastic it was. Unit 2 is newly renovated and centrally located, with very limited walking to the main building (lobby) or the pool area. Renovations recently done by Hilton are beautiful and the room was exceptionally clean (2bed/2bath) with a large living room and dining area + kitchen. Unit was also stocked with basics (dish soap, paper towel, laundry detergent etc.), which was a nice bonus - we cooked breakfast every morning, it was great and even did a few loads of laundry. The pool area is AMAZING for kids and families. The splash park appeared to have been recently updated and features an awesome shallow area with lots of colourful sprays and dumping buckets. Additionally, the main pool is massive, and there was never an issue getting chairs and it did not feel busy. Towels are also conveniently accessible with your room key at the towel dispensers. The only thing that would be great for parents to know is that the double waterslide has a height restriction of 40" and you can't (or aren't supposed to) ride double with a kid under 40" (it is supervised by staff) so that can be a tough conversation with a little, but there is a lot more to do!

Property overall was OK. I wish parking fee was included as part of room price. Requested extra pillows and never received them until we called again the next day. Hallways can be loud at nite. Had a good grab and go store open late, but very expensive. Quickest walk to Disney Springs from any of the hotels on Hotel Plaza Blvd. Pool was OK, nothing special.

The unit is new and has potential, but cleanliness and the lack of Wi-Fi were disappointing

Our entire stay was wonderful and an overall great experience! The staff were very friendly and we have nothing bad to say; would stay again!

We had an incredible time. The hotel is beautiful with plenty of things to do. Breakfast has a good selection of things. Front desk staff always friendly. My only suggestion for the hotel is to let guests know they need to request room cleaning, as we spent more than a week there and only had one cleaning of the room upon request, and it was scheduled for the following day. Although not from the hotel, we did have an unpleasant experience with the agent selling the park tickets, but this is not in any way a resemblance of the hotel staff.

Location is not the most safe. I saw several homeless. Even saw a lady peeing in the bushes outside the hotel.
