There are lots of hotels to stay at in Kathmandu, but there is only one Shankar. Shankar has unmatched hospitality, with my personal favorite hosts Mr. Puri & Mr. Sharan who are both super stars. I always looked foward to chatting with them at meal times. Shankar has a mid-century modern motif, and it keeps the heritage of Nepal and Newari culture alive. Shankar also has an amazing garden to relax in and connect with nature after a long day in the city.

I had the pleasure of meeting several staff members during my stay, all of whom went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and accommodate requests such as luggage storage and early check-in. The complimentary foot massage was an unexpected and much-appreciated touch. I look forward to staying with you again on my next visit. The hotel is new , fully sprinkled - and has wonderful facilities --walk straight out the door into shopping areas.

Hotel was very dated there was mould in rooms I had to be moved from the first room as the electricity kept trippingthe breakfast had a good variety and room service was great value. The location was good just 1 street away from the action

Atmospheric heritage hotel with a lovely garden and swimming pool tucked away in a quite corner just a stone's thrown from dining and shopping options in Lazimpat and environs. Great value.

The Milestone has a friendly team of staff and is well managed. The restaurant has multiple options of breakfasts available and the rooms have really good a/c which is a huge relief during hot days. Multiple staff at the front desk are knowledgable on all the best spots in the area and will be able to guide you on pretty much anything you will need! Awesome stay guys, won't forget it! Truely appriciate the hospitality.
