I stayed at Haya Guesthouse for my first night in Yerevan. I had a late arrival and they coordinated a pickup, and when my card wasn’t working at the airport they helped me figure out a solution to get my transportation squared away while I figured out the ATM situation. As a woman traveling alone it was extremely valuable to have such a safe and communicative crew making sure I arrived smoothly!

At first I was taken aback by what I booked, I hadn't done any research on the area or the property. It's in a sort of remote village, there's a nearby supermarket. I recommend getting your own snacks and drinks before getting there as the walk to the market isn't mostly flat. The place is basically a farmhouse, super cozy and has a classic, simple vibe. The property is pretty modern for the area. The hotel is relatively small, owned by a super kind famliy- they're very sweet and generous. The room is well equipped and clean, basic toiletries and towels are provided, and there's an AC, tv, mini fridge, and kettle. It also has a small balconey overlooking the garden. There are beehives and an api house. The place also has a gift shop where the family sells homemade stuff which include honey wine, soaps, candles, perfumes, and creams. The location...
