The Snow Monkey Park is a must see!
The town is relatively small and the day we went into town most of the shops were closed. If you are staying in the area its worth a stop to grab something to eat at one of he local eateries but i didn't see much beyond that was of interest.
We went for the Snow Monkeys. Loved it!
The availability of the onsen was great
I went for quiet, snow and onsen. I was very happy with all 3.
4 star quality service! took care of our luggage when we checked in early and adjusted meal requests on the fly
