"The room was great and facilities clean and well-maintained. This was our final stop along the Hadrian’s Wall Path and a welcome upgrade from campsites along the way. Good value for money and a lively restaurant nearby."

"Staff were lovely at reception, very helpful & pleasant. I do enjoy a smiling welcome. Also bar staff were great too. Bed was super-comfy. Good size room & shower room. Downside was having no fridge in the room for a hot July weekend & that the toilet seat was stained with what I assume to be fake tan. Pool was great too. Already booked to stay again next month."

"We checked in at 4am but was unfortunately put right above reception and next to main lift. Paid decent money to get a few hours sleep but was kept up because of a very noisy access door with no soft close and busy reception area. Not impressed tbh"

"Welcoming staff and parking is a positive. The toilets and showers are very poor. Doors on toilets don't lock properly, showers are very poor, no cleaning soap in shower or toilet or they were broken. This was on the 3rd floor. Don't know why I was on the third floor s there weren't many guests. Some guests I noticed leave a lot to be desired. I suppose you get what you pay for. This place is in need of a complete overhaul especially the toilet and shower facilities."
