Ein anderes Beistellbett wurde auf meine Nachfrage hin am nächsten Tag allerdings sofort aufgestellt. Das Frühstücksbuffett ist für satte 14 Euro extremst spärlich gehalten mit nur einer Fruchtart und keiner Brotauswahl, es gab nur Brötchen und kleine Croissants. "

"Das Familienzimmer Nr. 2 in der 1.Etage war super. Die Boxspringbetten sind äußerst bequem. Mein Hund war sehr herzlich willkommen. Das Frühstück war echt toll. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und geht auf jegliche Sonderwünsche gerne ein."

"Pension Barbara is a very cosy and clean pension right next to the paths leading up to The Brocken. The hostess was very sweet and attentive, and we had a good stay. Schierke as a town is a bit dated and quiet in the autumn, when we visited. Is was difficulty to find a place to just have a couple of drinks etc. The national park, Brocken and paths are all excellent for a short hiking-holiday. Great nature, chalenging paths (if you want it), nice restaurant on the summit."
