Hotel Lavender is a boutique hotel. I had a small but charming room facing the street that had everything you need (including bathrobes). The room had AC, the WiFi worked fine, and the space was extremely clean. Even though the hotel is in walking distance to the old town, you may take the tram (2 minutes from the hotel) if you plan to visit Wawel castle, which I highly recommend. The buffet breakfast was very good, and I liked that a small outdoor space where one could enjoy the fresh air was available. Konrad, one of the managers, was extremely friendly and helpful as it was Mateusz, who usually covers the night shift. Konrad arranged for transportation to the airport and I was impressed with the punctuality of the driver at 3 am in the morning. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience, and I would highly recommend the Lavender Hotel.

Spotlessly clean with really friendly helpful staff. 3 minute walk from the old town square. Couldn’t be more central. Restaurants and sites to visit really close.

Appears to be recently remodeled facility in very good condition. Terrific location. Staff friendly but inexperienced. While very nice, it did not seem to be a 5 star level of luxury and amenity. Still very nice.
