"I booked this apartment for a week. When I arrived it was raining heavily, and the walls and the ceiling of the apartment was leaking. I contacted the owner and they gave me the Gray room instead while they repaired the leak. "This hotel was good! Couldn't ask for a better location. Staff friendly and helpful. The included soft drink mini bar was great in the room!! So nice to know when we got back to room after a day of sightseeing that we would have a fresh new bottle of sparkling and still water, and pops in room! The tea and coffee making facilities were great too. Also loved the free welcome bottle of Cava and also a thank you bottle of wine later in stay! Shower was great, and breakfast delicious and great choices, you can order what you want for the hot food options. Would stay again!"

"This hotel was spotlessly clean including (most importantly) the towels, bedding and the small balcony. Reception was manned at all times and the staff were always very friendly and helpful. They arranged airport travel for us and offered to book excursions in advance of our arrival and were on hand to answer any questions we might have had. The kitchen area was sufficiently stocked with plenty of cutlery and cups/plates etc. and the open plan living/kitchen area was very spacious. There was air conditioning in this room and the bedroom which was welcome at night. Finally, the location of this hotel was perfect. Very close to all attractions in the old town and the train station. That being said, it was very quiet and we heard no noise apart from the birds chirping in the nearby trees. We will most definitely return and are so glad we found this little gem of a hotel 😊"

"We had an exceptional stay at the Balthazar hotel. The rooms were lovely and the staff was very attentive. The location is in the heart of old town but was still very quiet and relaxing.
