The Glasshouse is the perfect secluded setting for a relaxed and private family vacation. Nestled into the jungle hillside in the south of Phuket and set in an area of 1,140sqm, this modern 6-bedroom house provides some of the best sea-views available in Phuket.

The infinity pool is the centrepiece of the Glasshouse experience and the whole villa is designed for sharing quality experiences and creating lasting memories. Whether you're playing with the kids in the pool, watching the sunset across the bay, relaxing in the shade of the Thai sala or enjoying a drink at the bar table, your time at the Glasshouse will be full of special moments.

Located on a small peninsular near Cape Panwa, the villa is just a few minutes walk from two beautiful unspoiled beaches. Ao Yon beach (east-facing) and Khao Khad beach (west-facing) are both in sheltered bays and suitable for swimming all year round.

The house is set among landscaped tropical gardens connected by stone pathways and dotted with several terraced areas. The 10m infinity pool is at the heart of the Glasshouse experience and includes a jacuzzi for the ultimate indulgence, day or night.

Loungers on the pool side are perfect for soaking up the sun or move to the Thai style sala with it's sofas and coffee table for some shade. The sala has its own speakers so that you can enjoy chill out music by the pool or perhaps something more lively with cocktails as you watch the sun set across the bay. Outside seating includes; 8 poolside loungers, sofa for 6 in the sala, 4 bar stools.

Partially remodelled in 2024, the spacious open planned living space with panoramic views of Chalong bay spans the entire width of the property and opens directly on to the pool terrace and sala. It includes a dining area with seating for 16 for formal dining, a TV den (75" TV with sound system and a selection of board games for adults & kids) and a triple height sitting area with its own hifi sound system. The open design merges with the pool terrace making it ideal for informal, al fresco eating, entertaining or just relaxing. The living space extends upstairs where we have a full-sized table tennis table, an office desk with swivel chair in case you have to work and an outside balcony with a circular day bed. Perfect for meditation, reading or another space for the kids to play. Keep healthy with our yoga mats, TRX and resistance bands.

Our brand new (2024) kitchen is fully equipped with a full range of appliances including dishwasher, induction hob, self-cleaning oven and microwave. Coffee lovers will love our espresso machine, filter coffee maker and moka pot. With our blender, you can start every day with a delicious fresh tropical fruit smoothie. Our kitchen is not just about cooking; the large island with breakfast bar provides an additional social hub.

Also new in 2024, our outside Thai-style kitchen has a gas hob and bespoke 4-burner BBQ grill.

For guests with accessibility needs, we have a chair lift from the car park level up to the main entrance. With our poolside bedroom and open plan living area (kitchen, dining area, living area, TV den) all on the ground floor, the villa can be enjoyed as a single-level wheelchair accessible step-free space. The water in the villa is sourced from our own well and we have drinking water on tap so there's no need to buy single-use plastic bottles of water.

With six bedrooms, five en-suite bathrooms, guest WC, outside shower, new western & Thai kitchens, huge open plan living space, TV den with U-shaped sofa, private swimming pool with jacuzzi, tropical gardens, carport and terrace, the Glasshouse is spacious!

We can comfortably accommodate up to 22 guests (maximum 18 adults). Infants up to 2 years don't count towards our maximum.

The Glasshouse can accommodate up to 18 guests in beds with the following options for sleeping arrangements:

Master bedroom: king-size bed + king-size sofa bed (en-suite bathroom, 50" TV. walk-in closet, balcony with swing love seat)
2nd bedroom: king-size bed + queen-size sofa bed (*en-suite bathroom, 50" TV, balcony)
Poolside bedroom: king-size bed (en-suite bathroom)
Garden view room: 2 x single beds (*en-suite bathroom, 50" TV)
5th bedroom: king-size bed, separate private living room with double sofa bed (en-suite bathroom, 50" TV)
6th bedroom: king-size bed (en-suite bathroom)

We also have floor mattresses (for children), 3 cots and 3 high chairs.

*one en-suite bathroom is shared between 2nd and garden-view bedrooms

The 5th & 6th bedrooms each have their own separate private entrance accessed from the rear of the house. These bedrooms do not have sea views.

The villa is always offered with exclusive use of the house, pool, and gardens.

Bed linen and towels (bathroom & pool/beach) are provided.

The rental includes a maid cleaning service.

To support the local community, these services are paid locally directly to the provider; we don't take any commission.

To encourage thoughtful use, electricity is included up to 300kWh/day. This will cover regular use of the villa and pool with modest use of aircon and is sufficient for 90% of our guests. Any use over this is charged at cost price (THB6/kWh).

Our private and romantic setting with stunning views across the bay make it a perfect location for a special event. We've hosted a number of weddings and other events at the Glasshouse and can help with the arrangements. Please enquire before booking.

The Glasshouse has an electric gate to provide privacy and security as well as an alarm system. There is a Ring video doorbell outside the gate pointing away from the property.

There is sheltered parking available for two cars inside the gate.

All the essential amenities you need to make your stay convenient, comfortable and indulgent are just a short walk away. There’s a Family Mart convenience store about 300 metres away open 24/7. It has an ATM and stocks a wide range of products including drinks, ice, snacks, confectionery, ice cream, toiletries, and other essentials. They also sell alcohol during permitted hours (11am-2pm, 5pm-midnight).

If you want to explore further afield, it's easy to get around with local taxi vans (can generally accommodate 11 passengers)

The nearest outdoor food markets are in Borae, a nearby village. One is open all day and the other, slightly closer and more interesting, is open late afternoon to early evening. These sell fruit, vegetables, fresh fish, meat & cooked food as well as Thai desserts and other local products. The nearest supermarket is about 5 minutes away in Makham Bay.

Phuket attractions that are within 5-10 minutes of the Glasshouse include Phuket Aquarium, Ao Yon waterfall, Khao Khad Tower & Viewpoint, and Tarzan Adventure. Water-based activities such as kayaking, sailing, snorkeling & diving start out from Ao Yon beach.

Phuket's other attractions are scattered across the island and most places you'd want to visit are within a 15-45 minute drive.

The big international style supermarkets in Phuket Central are about 20 minutes away. If there’s something very specific that you need, Central Food Hall at Floresta has a world-class range of imported products.

Check-in is from 3pm, and checkout is by 11am. We understand that flight schedules may not always align with these timings. If you need extra time, please ask us about availability and any applicable fees for early check-in or late checkout. We’ll do our best to accommodate you.
