"We had a wonderful time at this Sand Lake house. Everything was perfect from the impeccably decorated home to all of the amenities. Being right on the lake is wonderful, and Sand Lake is not too far from other destinations like Grand Rapids and Lake Michigan. (Would recommend The Forager for lunch or dinner which is only 10-15 mins from the house.) We rented the boat which made it extra special. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a family getaway. "

"Clean and sufficient, but a bit smaller than we thought indicated by the pictures. Had everything we needed. A bit complicated getting to the place, especially after dark due to inability to see street signs and few lights, but not uncommon for places up north. Beds upstair very firm, but I had brought a foam pad and was fine. "

Wasn’t aware that we were expected to take our garbage home with us until we got there and weren’t prepared to do that. Meijer is a couple of miles away if you need supplies. Overall, good place to stay. "

"My group found this to be the perfect spot for a weekend get away. The deck and dock are fantastic and the hot tub was very clean. The park across the street is great for all ages. If you wanted to hit a beach there is a public park 5 minutes away with a nice one. I would recommend this property to anyone and would 100% book again!"

"The campground is being updated as it used to be a church camp. Cabin #1 is a cinder block cabin with 3 bedrooms, one shower/toilet/sink room and a common area for relaxing and eating. It was well decorated and comfortable. It has A/C and a couple fans. They thought of everything when they updated this place. The building with the restrooms is also a comfortable place to play games or watch movies. We were able to kayak and enjoy the river easily. We are looking forward to coming back again."

Walk out the back door and we caught some trout and a nice king. There is NO cell service (AT&T) or wifi but, thanks to the HUGE DVD collection at the house and some games we brought from home, everyone was happy and entertained!
