「Clean. Staff lovely. Room was modern and clean. Shower wonderful. Everything we could want from a hotel at the very reasonable price. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. 」
「Very competitive price for a comfortable room. Accommodation( total of 4 rooms) was adjacent to and accessed via the village pub , but we did not hear a thing ! Nice outdoor space for relaxing or dining/ drinking.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay here again.
Only considerations are staircase up to accommodation and breakfast is not served in the pub. 」
「A unique and quaint property. Owners have a long history with owning the beautiful lodge. Perfect for what we needed (1 might stop over). Would love to go back once fully renovated as a wedding venue. It has so much potential and I wish them all the best. Quirky fact - Charles Dickens stayed here back in his heyday! 」
「Busy village pub, very old so lots of low beams (banged my head going up the stairs; no signage, so that could be improved), friendly service, good beer, very good food, generous portions and excellent value for money. Excellent choice if you are in need of a room in the Cotswolds at a sensible price 」
「Quirky and typically old-English. Whist the room was small, it was quiet and very comfortable. The staff, especially the dining room waitresses, were friendly and suitably attentive.
We enjoyed our meals and the location suited us very well.」
「Bar is good for a drink. WiFi is very good. The towels were of very quality. There is Tea/Coffee in the room, iron, hair dryer. Bed was comfortable, pillows were nice too. 」
