"Rocky Gap delivered per the norm. The staff was warm and welcoming. One of the waitresses in the restaurant surprised me with a little cheesecake in honor of my birthday. My Mother's Day and birthday weekend was awesome, and winning $240 at the casino didn't hurt either. This was my 3rd visit to Rocky Gap and I'll definitely be back again. 5/10-12/2024"

"The rooms are a little dated and dim, but I appreciated that everything was clean. Breakfast is basic, but as expected for the price. Only complaint is the smell of smoke in the hallway that managed to creep into the room. "

"When I discovered a long black piece of hair in the sink (which is located in the room and not the bathroom), I was not too alarmed. When I looked down, there was clumps of black human hair around the floor of the sink. I obtained rubber gloves and disinfecting wipes to clean the "entire" sink area, bathroom, and a host of other items in the room (including desk, fridge, microwave, dresser, and more). "The only thing I could negatively critique is the carpets as we’re a bit elderly with slight musty odor. Almost like there had been smokers in the room at some earlier time. The bathroom fan was quite noisy. It needs replacing too. But otherwise,the bed was comfortable, tv worked ,bathroom was clean with everything necessary and the room was quiet. The location was convenient."
