「The house is in a beautiful location and we were greeted by Alfie. We were made welcome from the very beginning and looked after well. Our twin room was perfect with amazing views. We were recommended a walk to the lake and took a picnic, beautiful scenery and incredibly relaxing. A must do! We were provided with a delicious cooked breakfast and fresh bread. We will absolutely be visiting again and we wished we’d stayed longer than 1 night. 」

She also made one of the best vegan breakfasts I've ever had and even went out of her way to get additional vegan snacks and treats when we mentioned it in the optional booking information (when she contacted me within about 15 minutes of booking).
The beds are comfortable and the bathroom was modern with a good shower.

Breakfast was excellent, and if you are heading out for walks, they can provide a packed lunch if you order the day before.
There must have been at least 5 extremely wellbeahaved dogs at the hotel that were owned by guests, its a super dog friendly place. There are towels to dry off the dogs and also a sink outside undercover with warm water tap to clean the dogs if needed.」
「Food was cooked to order and every meal was so good. There was plenty of choice and there was no problem when I asked for salad instead of chips. The plates were full of good tasty food.
The bed was so comfortable that we slept through the nights.」
