"Best coffee I've had that is 'steeped' vs. instant, GREAT discovery. Girlfriend and I loved the whole stay. It's an old motor inn in a perfect location, and now managed by Adrift which owns the higher end Inn at Manzanita across the street. Your car is literally outside your door with chairs to enjoy the sunset outside the front door, and adirondacks out the back door to enjoy the morning sun in the private courtyard. We dug it."

"We loved the location and the home - quiet and very private. However, the front door lock needed to be replaced or fixed as it didn’t work at times for us. We should have called the rental agency, but we were remiss in doing that.With one of our couples who was older, stairs were a bit difficult. They also said the lighting for reading upstairs was not sufficient. If I could give this home 4.5 stars, I would do that instead of 5 stars.There are not thermostats in every room as mentioned in the welcome book. We loved the quiet location, and the cleanliness of the home as well as the ease of walking to the beach. Manzanita is great for exploring Canon Beach and Rockaway. Two folks in our group used the bikes and said the chains needed oiling, but I told them that they were blessed to have them at all. Restaurants are good, and it is a very quiet location. We would definitely stay here again. If you are a golfer, there is an executive par 3 right across the street.Great place to stay."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely loved our stay here. It was instantly comfortable. Plenty of room to gather when we wanted to and have space when we needed it. We loved walking to the beach and into town (about 30 minute walk into town). Comfortable beds, couches, puzzles galore and well stocked. My only recommendation would be to consider switching to adjustable showerheads. The water pressure was so strong it was actually painful to take a shower especially for young kids. I would 100% stay here again!"

The beds were so comfortable (soft and supportive, and on the firm side), and our three teens were thrilled to each have their own bed. An even bigger thrill was finding the hot tub on the upper deck -- perfect for warming up after swimming in very, very cold water on overcast, windy beach days. The kitchen was well-equipped and well cared for (sharp knives in the knife block!), and I cooked every dinner at home with ease. It's clear that the family who owns the home furnished it with love and attention.We also loved the long, cushioned benches surrounding the dining table...perfect for crowding around to play boardgames and do puzzles comfortably. The house is paradise for dogs -- our dog had to explore all the rooms, and then made a beeline for the basket of dog toys, and found a favorite ball to chase around the floor while we watched World Cup soccer on the huge TV (perfect for family movie night). A dog bed and feeding bowls/mat were also provided, along with a dedicated dog towel to clean up damp, sandy pups after beach adventures. And there was plenty of room in the primary bedroom for a large-sized dog crate.It took maybe two minutes to walk to the beach, which we did 2-3 times a day, for morning off-leash runs with our crazy dog, afternoon body-surfing for the kids, and seaside sunsets with the whole family. The house came with beach towels, and the outdoor shower was so helpful in cleaning sand off everyone before coming back into the house. We absolutely LOVED this house and plan to book it next time we visit the Oregon coast."
