"Staff were very welcoming and friendly. It was my brother in laws birthday and they put balloons in his room, gave him a cup cake and even bought him a card. All of this we didn’t ask for but made his birthday a little bit more special. Would definitely stay here again. Play area for my son was also a much added bonus."

"A clean well equipped hotel with super helpful staff. We were travelling from Devon to see a show in London so getting back home on same night not possible. This was a third of the cost of london equivalent hotels but far better than most. Plenty of late trains to Basingstoke leaving us closer to home after a sleep in a very comfy bed."

"One night stay in the middle of a motorhome journey, weather was too hot and needed a break from the heat. Looked on the Hotels.com site for hotel with a pool and air con bedroom. Searched hotels nearby, select and booked this one. Arrived at hotel reception a hour after booking. The reception staff were very helpful, quick book in and allocated room. Room was perfect, curtains drawn, air con on, blissful. Pool was the next visit, again perfect, hardly anyone in the pool, sauna and steam rooms fully operational. Got a great nights sleep, big queen bed, stacks of pillows and the air con on all night. Breakfast was included, so had a nice breakfast then another swim before setting off again in the motorhome, recharged for another few days in the heat."

"Really enjoyable one-night stay. The hotel did everything well. From the efficiency and friendliness of the staff at reception; nicely decorated and comfortable rooms; a tasty dinner in a nice environment; and a very good buffet breakfast. They really didn’t put a foot wrong. The room was a little warm, but we are in the middle of a heatwave. And although the room didn’t have air conditioning they helped out by putting a fan in the room."

"Just had a two night stay here for the landrover fest and almost everything was great. The house keeping staff kept all areas clean and tidy and the room was no exception. Air conditioning was a must have in 30° temperatures which enabled a decent sleep on the comfortable beds. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly as were the restaurant staff also. Star of the show was Andrea, she couldn't do enough for us and treated my son and me like friends she'd known for ages. There was a small charge for parking but it was plentiful and secure so no problems there. So landy show all day Saturday and the England Norway game in the evening after a very agreeable steak. I'd certainly do it again, many thanks for a lovely break people."
