"Fantastic place to enjoy nature and the surrounding areas of Sapporo and Otaru. Staff was super helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast was awesome. Piano play at night during the week was actually one of the highlights just sitting and listening to live play for an hour. Having a car helps getting around as there really is not much within walking distance. Many of the frost staff spoke English, but it’s definitely a hotel more for Japanese tourists. Onsen was also pretty good with the outdoor and indoor parts. The location is prime for venturing out in a bunch of directions to explore. "

"The traditional Japanese style room was great and we had a beautiful thirteenth floor view of the green lush mountains. Paddleboarding nearby was also great. Nice town and wonderful people. "

"Have some of the most amazing and tranquil views imaginable of the lake. This hotel is away from the main town but offers a shuttle several times through the day and it is only a 10 minute ride highly recommend taking a ferry to the island in the middle of Lake Toya. The beds were super comfortable, and the food was traditional Japanese, which is not my favorite, but was good quality and generous. The staff were very friendly, but English was somewhat difficult for them. This was a great location to beat the heat that we had experienced in Tokyo and Kyoto, as it was unusually hot for June this visit we hiked around the island circumference which took about 2 1/2 hours. The water was really nice and I could see swimming there, but we just didn’t bring bathing suits. We learned from our relatives who live here that you can get pretty good food from 711 like these rice, seaweed wraps and things like that and green tea so those are perfect snacks to have for lunch or too tied one over Between meals. The shuttle stops right at the 711 so that is convenient. I know it sounds ridiculous to Americans, but the 711 in Japan is a lot better than America."

"The moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The service team is friendly and efficient. The room is fantastic. Bright and spacious. Amenities are good. Super clean. Very comfortable pillow. One of the best stays. "

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Property is very nicely designed, well executed and well managed. Overnight parking (valet) is relatively expensive for the spring season in the area."

"Clean and up-kept property. The room is spacious and beds are comfy. Up kept osen and pool ( maybe we are lucky as it is the end of skiing season). Good varieties buffet choices. Receptionists and butlers are welcoming and helpful. We loved the valet skiing services. The staff are so accommodating and helpful. Overall we all enjoyed our stay very much. We will keep coming back. "
