"Well maintained historic hotel. If you enjoy vintage hotels, you'll like this hotel. It has been tastefully updated and the room was clean and comfortable. Reception staff was knowlegeable about the comunity, helpful and courteous. We thought earplugs among the amenities was thoughful, and suspect that 100 year old walls between rooms were not very soundproof, but we did not have adjacent guests so don't know whether the earplugs were necessary. We enjoyed our stay and believe this would be a nice romantic get-away location. Our room had a balcony."

"Nice view of the marina, lovely sunset. Quiet, relaxing stay with balcony. Toilet kept running all night- told management in the morning. Would stay here again."

"Great room! Very clean, quiet, comfortable bed, great jacuzzi, nice looking fireplace! Only issue was no A/C or fan so it was too hot for me. I will definitely return but will wait for cooler weather."

"The room was great, very clean with an amazing view. The bed was horrible. It seemed like it was broken as if someone had jumped on it. Also the upstairs plumbing was extra loud. The staff is super nice. The manager did say they are doing extensive renovation with new beds and tv's this year."

"Amazing place to stay !!!! Two restaurants within walking distance with bars and gambling. Hammond marina is a couple minutes away and the beach and Fort Stevens. Great place to stay while out fishing in the ocean or river and also razor clamming! Just love it !!!"
