Room was very tidy, Francis and the other staff member we met were super friendly and wonderful. Francis was such a lovely person, made us feel very welcoming from the beginning :) Would definitely stay again!

Lovely Place

Hosts were lovely! Really impressed at how fresh, bright & clean everything was - seriously think on these attributes- the best motel I have ever stayed at!!! (Thinking a recent makeover?) Refreshed pool area & trampoline if travelling with kids/ summer travel. I did have a slight hiccup with the very high step out of the shower ( old, inherited plumbing situation) - but was gratified when the host was open to the suggestion of a non slip step, rather than being defensive of the situation. Perfect stop over, or longer stay, walking distance to great eateries.

Great place to stay when visiting family in Waikanae. Easy motorway access. Walking distance to the Waikanae shops and the suburban train station. Not ultra modern but everything you need and comfy beds.

Fantastic.

Our host was charming and helpful, the room was spotless and bed very comfortable. Plenty of variety and supplies of coffee, tea, etc. Plenty of towels, face cloths and toiletries. Older motel but was very well maintained. Close to railway line but no trains between 10.30pm and 6.55am, so had a really good nights sleep. Would definitely stay again.

A Gem in Waikanae

The new hosts were very welcoming, friendly, helpful & hospitable. Although it was something out of the 1970's the unit was very tidy & clean; & it felt like blast from the past.
