"The July is a comfortable, clean, modern hotel in a quiet residential section of town. The hotel restaurant is good. Outside seating options make for a pleasant meal or cocktail. The staff is polite and attentive. Getting to and from the hotel to sights and restaurants is always a taxi or Uber. Nothing is within walking distance. Expect $15 to $20 for each ride by Uber. Taxis are mych more and should be avoided. "

I loved having a washer/dryer in the apartment as well as a laundry room free of charge if needed. The view of the canals was amazing. "The rooms are so spacious and the bathroom is big too. The staff are all friendly. It was quiet so didn't get much outside noise. So many bars and restaurants around it. About a 10 minute walk and you are in the main square. About a 15 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. There are lots of tram stops near by if you don't want to be walking as much. "
