"Did not have enough staff in the buffet area (waiters/waitresses), staff in the outside bar, no personality, no since of urgency, no waiters approached us for drink refills a couple of days. The room that we had divided us via a door and we could hear everything, we Astro be moved and the manager was supposed to give me a resolution this was on the second day that i reported and no one call me, texted me, nothing was done. "The hotel is outdated and old. There is no air conditioning in the lobby. The young lady at the desk was great. The older lady is rude and did poorly at explaining a room charge and accused me of being mad when I questioned my charge. It served its purpose of needing a room overnight. Outside of that I would not recommend."

"We loved this two bedroom condo with an amazing pool on the Fonte property. Guillermo was an excellent host and addressed any issues that we had. The staff was welcoming and available. The directions in regard to the Mayan Palace property were a little confusing. There are two payments to be made. One for transportation on the shuttle to and from the condo to the Maya Palace and another fee to use the facilities at the Maya Palace. Once we got that understood and sorted out things were smooth. As it turns out our two grandchildren loved staying at the condo and swimming in the enormous pool. It wasn’t crowded at all. Everything was very clean. Towels were provided. We had a car so going off property to eat wasn’t really a problem but for those who prefer to cook at home, there is no oven. There is a microwave and a cooktop and a small toaster oven. There is a full-size refrigerator. I would recommend you stop at a Solano’s or Walmart to get groceries prior to arriving at the property."

"This hotel is absolutely exquisite. This is the best hotel I've been to by far. I was greeted upon entering the hotel with a drink. I was assigned a concierge member who provided daily updates and answered any questions I had. The food in all restaurants were absolutely delicious but the hibachi restaurant was the best. The rooms are gorgeous and huge. Theres a hot tub on every balcony. Theres a rooftop bar and pool thats just spectacular. It overlooked the ocean and just wow. They have a café to pick up snacks or sandwiches if you're feeling hungry but dont want a full meal. The only downside is the breakfast doesn't serve alternative to pork or beef, like chicken sausage or turkey bacon..maybe one day they will. Overall I'm absolutely in love with this place and will be back. I purchased a package to return..oh bonus- this is an adult only resort and no buffets. I mean you cannot beat that. Everything was well thought out when designing this place and experience."
