「This hotel exceeded our expectations
Location is great walking distance from lots of bars and restaurants
Hotel is beautiful and has an amazing Ora to it
Breakfast is one of the best I had so many options including almond milk and espresso machine
Staff are genuinely nice and helpful
Parking is across the street $10 a day or a $1 an hour
Highly recommend we will definitely go back

「Did not know what to expect upon arrival but was pleased to find our own little apartment in this very modern building … loved the kitchen and availability of the in unit laundry. Only complaint I could say is no hair dryer (4 girls) and one night there was an alarm prompting evacuation in the middle of the morning but all in all had a very enjoyable experience 」

「Hyatt Place Hotel in downtown Des Moines is the only place we stay when in town.
The staff is amazing, friendly and so helpful giving us local info and hints as to what to do and where to eat.
Our room is always clean with a lovely view of the area.
The location is so convenient to concerts, museums, plays and baseball. We parked our car and walked.
A nice workout room with great equipment and a pool just the right size for doing morning laps.
The free breakfast is just what we needed to start...
「It was a renovated room. Nice and clean. The sink, shower, and toilet were all very nice.
But the room was very small, with no fridge, no microwave. More importantly, not a single chair!
If we arrived early, maybe we could ask the front desk. We need a chair just to sit to put shoes on. A bed there was too high.
The front desk staff was very nice. The road noise did not bother us.」

「We really enjoyed our brief stay at this inn. Our room was clean and comfortable. The AC worked amazing and the staff were friendly. We were on the front side of the inn so the noise from the road was a little loud, but it wasn't horrible. I think if your room was on the backside it would be fine.」
