Ventura County Fairgrounds

The location of the resort is perfect, right on the beach. The nights we were there the resort was completely booked. For a large resort and a small pool area this created problems finding chairs and places in the one and only hot tub. Also pool staff were overworked so dishes sat around waiting to be picked up. The room was very clean and we loved having 2 bathrooms. I am not a big resort person so I was a little put off by the daily resort fee, parking fee, and having to join hilton honors just to have free wifi. Food was also very expensive. Luckily we found great places to eat in walking distance.
