Definitely one of the best hotels I have ever been. The whole atmosphere of the house and the surrounding area but also the rooms, breakfast, music during breakfast and the discreet but perfect service (not to intrusive) makes you feel like being in a grand hotel of the last century. Next time I actually want to wear a better outfit to celebrate it even more 😄👍 Thanks to the whole team and keep on

Harry Potter style hotel with great dinner

Great hospitality and service. The hotel has history and the food is great. Because of the age of the hotel the room (#2) was clean, bit a bit dusty. Parking was challenging.

I booked this hotel as a stop over on our trip from Switzerland to CinqueTerre... I had no idea how amazing it was !! I would recommend it for couples who want to take some time alone for a couple of days ! The breakfast was amazing and the staff were wonderful !

This place is very beautiful and romantic. The staff was wonderful! Getting to the hotel was challenging, way up a mountain in the middle of nowhere! Nothing to do in the area.

Nicht lohnenswert, furchtbares Essen, ringhörig...

Der Parkplatz ist eine Zumutung, sofern man es auch findet. Dazu kommt das, dass Fahrzeug gerne an der unteren Schwelle ansteht, geschweige vom manövrieren damit man überhaupt in den Parkplatzareal hineinkommt. Areal ist auch nicht gerade der richtige Begriff dafür. Zimmer ringhörig, aber wirklich ringhörig, man hört die Fliegen des Zimmer nebenan. Das Essen hält nicht lange an, es verlässt den Körper relativ früh wieder, zum Glück auch. Nein im ernst, einmal und nie wieder. Die Crevetten in den Teigwaren waren latschig, die Teigwaren roh und der rest darunter nicht definierbar. Das einzige positive ist die Aussicht / Panorama, aber das ist gerade alles. Sie fragen auch nicht bei der Kreditkarte ob es in der eigenen Währung oder in der Landeswährung gebucht werden soll, diese Entscheidung übernehmen sie selbstständig, natürlich zu ihren gunsten. Das ist mal eine ehrlicher Bewertung. Wäre froh hätte ich selbst eine solche im Vorfeld gelesen.

Grandiose Lage, aber nur für Fußgänger

Anreise sollte mit leichten Gepäck erfolgen, eine direkte Anfahrt ans Hotel ist nicht möglich. Kleiner Parkplatz in ca. 400m Entfernung über steile Kopfsteinpflaster sehr schwierig anzufahren, sehr eng und schnell voll. Öffentliche Parkplätze (an Wochenenden und Feiertagen kostenpflichtig) ca. 1 km entfernt. Man muß sich trauen durch verwinkelte, enge Gassen zu fahren. Die Lage in einem schönen Bergdorf mit engen Gassen und wunderbarem Blick entschädigt aber für die Mühe. Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, Tisch fürs Abendessen sollte man in jedem Fall vorbestellen.
