"This is a very special place, like stepping back in time, absolutely gorgeous decor and grounds, every detail lovingly cared for. The bed was super comfy, immaculately clean throughout house. The breakfast was amazing, berries and pears from their own yard, hosts super nice. Have not stayed anywhere that felt more like a memorable experience vs a room for the night. Will definitely return if in the area."

"The property was a little run down and had a little odor when walking into the room. Maybe the carpet could be cleaned as they do allow pets. Also, the curtain had a stain on it. The bed was excellent, very comfortable and the linens were very nice. Slept very well. The hot water was scalding so the temperature needs to be turned down! Also, the bathroom sink was plugged up. We went to have breakfast at 8:50 on Sunday and everything was gone except waffles so had to wait for the rest in courses. Staff wasn't smily nor very friendly. Collected the info they needed and that was all. It was a quiet location and close to a grocery store and restaurants. Parking was good and secure. It was a convenient place to stay especially if you need a place with a kitchen and work area."
