"Located in the old quarter of Hanoi just a short walk from Hoan Kiem Lake, the hotel is a boutique hotel with an exceptional level of hospitality. Staff of the hotel are friendly and helpful and can anticipate your needs including a preference for a shower cubicle instead of a bathtub. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous with western and Vietnamese dishes served at level 9 where you can get a good view of Saint Joseph’s Cathedral. The rooftop bar and swimming pool is a good place to relax at night. "

"Firstly, all the staff were amazing and a pleasure to have them help us. They all brought happiness and kindness to our stay. Specially given that they were working during Tet. I have stayed in many hotels and the Hotel du Lac Signature stands out amongst the top 10 much like their sister property in Saigon. There was not one aspect that did not stand out with exceptionalism. Highly recommend planning your stay here in Hanoi. A superb hotel and clearly worthy of 5 Stars. "

"The staff was really friendly and always helpful, simple breakfast but has everything you need including vegetarian options. Staff was accommodating for extra food or other options. Location is good, is close to the old quarter but not in the middle of the “chaos”. Close to the Ho Chi Min mausoleum and embassy’s so nice walking areas. Staff allowed luggage to stay extra days in the hotel and also allowed to use the shower facilities in the spa at no extra charge for evening departure from hotel. Gym and pool would use some polishing. Overall very sleek boutique hotel - very nice stay in Hanoi. "
