「Torel Quinta da Vacaria was the most beautiful and best stay in Douro Valley. The hotel was an architectural marvel, with its state of the art spa to the most spectacular views of the river. But the best part was its amazing staff and impecable service. This had been one of the best hotels we have stayed in the world and we HIGHLY recommend it.」

Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. 」
「Beautiful farm...people were very helpful...lovely setting...and great wines and information about wines and ports. Only issue was finding the place...they do not have a sign at the entrance to the property.」
「beautiful property 15 minute walk from pinhao. Wonderful restaurants on site. If you need a taxi seems to be difficult to get and we had to walk there. Staff booked taxi for the next day to get back to pinhao but were reluctant to do so - suggested we call them!! 」
「Beautiful location/setting. Pool was nice at end of a long day. Staff were wonderful,we had an amazing evening enjoying a dinner and wine while taking in the view on our patio. Personal touch as only five guest rooms. Breakfast in morning was included and great way to start off the day」

Le décor a lui seul rend l’endroit exceptionnel le reste est du bonus! Les serviettes pourraient être changé pour des plus agréables, mais cela ne nous empêchera assurément pas de revenir, merci pour tout!! 」
「O hotel fica na Quinta do Portal, uma casa de fazenda bem adaptada para hotel. O quarto e wc grande, varanda e bem decorada. O café da manhã maravilhoso. Um detalhe só, as estrada do restaurante para o hotel por 2 vezes ficou bloqueada por carros entregando mercadoria para o restaurante e tivemos que esperar a operação. O jantar menu degustação vale muito a pena」
