I didn't see that it had a shared bathroom when I booked it. The only private space is the bedroom. There are other bedrooms in the "apartment" and people share the bathroom, kitchen and living room with you. There were a couple of fans in the bedroom but it was still super hot. There is street parking but you get ticketed during certain times and you're only allowed to park there for a short while, which was a hassle. After 45 minutes, I checked out and booked the Hilton. This is like a hostel. If you want your own space and comfort, this is not the place for you. If you don't mind sharing with strangers, some inconveniences and sweating, you'll do fine here!

I booked this hotel expecting basic amenities, especially a hot shower and a comfortable night’s sleep. Unfortunately, there was no hot water during my stay, making it impossible to shower. This completely defeated one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. I informed the front desk, but the issue was not resolved in a timely manner, and there was no compensation offered. A functioning hot water system is a basic expectation for any hotel, and not having it significantly impacted my stay.

Breakfast was amazing but overall the beds the bathroom everything was clean and comfortable. I would stay again if we ever go back to Zurich

We loved having access to the guest kitchen including the fridge. The back terrace was in full bloom and a lovely place to sit in the evening with snacks and a drink after a busy day of being tourists. The breakfast was amazing with home made goodies (and we know they were homemade as we were in the guest kitchen getting water one day and the very lovely staff member was taking delicious smelling treats out of the oven!), a nice selection of fruits, cheeses, breads, etc. The staff were very helpful with suggestions and directions as well. Overall it was a 10 out of 10 experience!
