Top Union Bay Hotel Reviews

Crown Isle Resort and Golf Community

10/10 Excellent

"Staff was great"

Best Western The Westerly Hotel

8/10 Good

"Staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. There’s construction happening on site, so made sure to be clear about where to park and where things were. Room was great. Had a little more noise at night due to facing the street and people hanging out outside, but that wasn’t the responsibility of the hotel."

Spectacular ocean side experience at this stunning 1 bdm home, Qualicum Bay

10/10 Excellent

"It is not often that we have found a rental unit with as much attention to detail as this one. High ceiling with expansive windows to give a panoramic view of the ocean that is mere steps from the front deck. Hardwood floors, granite countertops and quality appliances. The Owner very accommodating and attentive to any of our concerns (which were very few). Qualicum Bay is close to Courtenay to the North and Qualicum/Parksville to the South with quality golfing opportunities, cafes, pubs and of course the French Creek fish market. The low tide exposes abundant sandy beach areas for quite walks or scavenging. We highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again."

Beautiful Oceanfront ‘Cottage’ - Breathtaking Views,Beach,Pet Friendly,Fireplace

10/10 Excellent

"It was our first visit to Denman island and our stay was perfect. Great communication with the host, exceedingly clean cottage, well equipped, super comfortable king size bed, quiet with walks around the property, great wood burning fireplace, wonderful location and with a spectacular view. The added personal touch made it home-like. We couldn't of ask for a better stay."

180 Water views + patios!

10/10 Excellent

"Our recommendation is DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME LOOKING ANYWHERE ELSE!Shelly is the PERFECT host! She took care of every request immediately! Her beautiful home with a fantastic ocean view from both the living and master bedroom were FABULOUS!Shelly was also most gracious to share her apples and blackberries on her property!Every room was immaculate and her kitchen was stocked with an immense amount of pots and pans, everything for baking, lots of dishes and to top it off tons of spices! While during our walks just minutes from her home we saw an owl, blue heron, bald eagle, deer, a family of sea otters and an orca!To one and ALL reading this review please DO YOURSELVES A BIG FAVOR AND CHOOSE THIS WONDERFUL HEAVENLY HOME AWAY FROM HOME IN A MOST STUNNING PLACE ON EARTH!We hope you will LOVE your time at Shelly’s wonderful home as much as our family did!Thank you again Shelly and we pray that one day we can come and stay there again!"

Oceanfront Luxury Guest Suite and Sauna in a Rustic Natural setting

10/10 Excellent

"Simply beautiful. So thoughtfully designed, with obvious attention to every detail. A small space perfect for a couple, that doesn’t feel small, but light-filled and airy. Every window frames a gorgeous view. Our host was quickly responsive to any questions, and left a guide with thorough instructions on how to use everything, ideas for hikes and activities and useful info on local businesses. Although attached to the host’s home, the suite was completely private. The bathroom and shower - gorgeous. Comfortable bed. Fresh flowers in a bud vase on the counter when we arrived. Great hikes and natural beauty on Denman. We were completely charmed by the island, loved this beautiful accommodation and can’t wait to return. The humpback whales that we could see and hear from our deck were a magical extra touch."
