The public bath was a fun experience for us, particularly with the Fuji view while soaking. The hotel entrance makes it feel like it's a luxury hotel, but the room we had on the first night, in particular, was shabby with missing handles, chipped and worn furniture, toilet seat partially detached, and just all-round tired fixtures and fittings.
