"The Riu Palace (family side) is completely renovated. We booked the Antillas side but spent alot of time (pool, buffet, lobby bar, sports bar) over there as it felt nicer and was more appealing. The beach for both was good, clear water with fish to observe. No service on beach only at pool. We enjoyed our stay and would come back."

"The location was great- it is about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The apartment was fine for a brief stay. Had a few problems- the safe wasn't unlocked for us to use and we were never able to get the TV to work. It would have been nice for a small amount of time late in the evening. The kitchen is stocked well. The floor was not clean when we arrived, but we did sweep up. Additionally, the lock on the door is difficult- it would have been nice to have some further description on how to use. We tried to call to get help upon arrival, no answer and my husband finally figured it out. The location was safe- you are parking on the street with a lot of traffic and everyone speeds- so you need to be cautious when entering and exiting your vehicle. The island is beautiful and access to the best beaches is easy from this location."

They maintained the grounds / pool multiple times throughout our 10 day stay. The host was communicative and handled our requests when minor things popped up. This is a top location on the island close to the beaches and short drive to palm beach where all of the action is happening. All in all we truly enjoyed staying at this property."
