「Jenny was a wonderful host. Hot individual selected breakfast items freshly cooked. Delicious and lots of choices. I loved the eggs with smoked salmon. Room was lovely. Historic old Benedictine abbey modernized. Lanivet Inn walkable and recommend it for dinner. Would stay at Abbey again if visiting Cornwall.」
「A lovely room in a converted stone building, separate from the main pub. Comfortable king-size bed and a small but adequate bathroom with an excellent rainfall shower. The only snag was the too-heavy duvet; we boiled on the first night! The second night we took the cover off it & slept under that. Good breakfast but we would have preferred to be able to eat at 8.30 instead of 9am.」
「We had a lovely peaceful stay Pengelly is ideally situated for the whole of Cornwall and very welcoming Ben is a treasure trove of knowledge and such a lovely intelligent man.
Katherine is a very busy mother and wife and both are lovely inviting people the farmhouse is very clean the rooms are very spacious and clean nothing seems to much to ask the breakfast is superb plenty of choice.

「Great stay. Beautiful location. Would definitely go back as didn’t get to use the spa etc. Breakfast was nice, but a bit expensive. Room was lovely, lack of plug sockets by the bed. Staff were very helpful. 」

Bath tub was not very practical, in fact dangerous to stand in when having a shower. No air conditioning in rooms but this was not critical.」
