「Monica was the best, to start we wanted her to make us supper the 1st night but I got back to her late and she had already made plans to attend an olive oil festival at a hamlet a few miles from her Villa. 「A wonderful week in Franco's villa. Lovely location - we did the walk up to Montecarlo most days to sample some of the local restaurants and coffee shops - and an easy drive into Altopascio for food shopping. 「The property was excellent for our family group of 4 adult couples. The bedrooms were all spacious with good facilities. The general villa had all the amenities required and had plenty of cooking facilities and utensils. 「Giacomo was a great host who was there to well is to the property when we arrived. He was on hand if we needed anything and bought us fresh fruit from his garden several times which was delicious. The villa had everything we needed and the pool was great. Location wise, it was a 10 minute car journey to Lucca which we visited several times. There are several restaurants close to the villa including Eva which did amazing ice creams. We really enjoyed our time in Tuscany and the villa. 」

「The Toscana village is great - so relaxing. The long stay owners are very friendly and helpful, as are the staff. The onsite bar/restaurant is good, as is the pool. There is a local town in easy walking distance with many old buildings, nice bars, and places to eat.
