"What a unique house! The location was beautiful. But the best part was all the crazy Knick Knacks. Every nook and cranny had some kind of doll or statue or things I had no idea what it was. So many beautiful things from around the world. Half the fun was trying to find them all. The bathrooms all had full stone showers. Not tile, but stone slabs. This was such a fun house to stay in. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have small children, but it’s a must for adults. The kitchen had top of the line appliances. Beds were comfy. "

"House was perfect for what we needed. Kitchen was well stocked, we used the outdoor fire pit and hot tub. House was very clean and communication with the owner was easy. We were in the area to hike and visit local shops and breweries. This house would be nice in the winter for skiing because it a short walk to the slopes. Thank you!"

"The family had a great time on a fall weekend. We ranged in ages from 71 to 1. We rode bikes, shopped in Davis and Thomas, and disc golfed in Blackwater Falls. The children really enjoyed playing ping pong and the miniature golf down the road was excellent!"

"We were in Canaan Valley for a family get together and needed a big house. I looked this one over, booked it and was very impressed with everything about it. The kitchen is very well equipped, plenty of linens and is in a great location.The property manager is very good to work with.Will definitely book it again!"

The decks were such an added bonus.The great weather and the beginning of the change of foliage made for a perfect weekend. Would love to stay for a ski weekend. "Check in was quick and easy. Everything was ready when we got there. The upstairs toilet sounds like it is going to take off but it worked. We loved sitting on the deck and seen a few deerbut no bear. May need deck re placed soon as well as picnic table. Grandsons wanted things to do beside TV but enjoyed playing cards in the evening. None of the items I mentioned kept us from having a great time. Would stay there again"
