"Awesome property and we had a great stay. It was a beautiful home with tons of available inside/outside space and beautiful scenery. Clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised but it seemed to include MORE value than the listing actually showed! PLENTY of nice and extra toiletries, Hot tub was awesome and relaxing. Nice touches all around and would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property. If I had one minor complaint it would be the trash disposal. I understand that the management company shouldn’t have to necessarily “take out your trash” but you had to drive literally ten minutes away to throw it away at a designated spot and it was required that you do that. If there was a more convenient place to drop the trash off or include it in the daily rate then it would alleviate going out of the way to have to drop it off yourself."

"Property needs some improvements. Needs new can openers, dry door needs a handle. Bathrooms need to install knobs so that showers can be turned on and off easier. Downstairs bathroom is not ideal. Commode on pedestal difficult to use. shower is very small. Head room downstairs is very low. Upstairs loft was very hot compared to the rest of the home. Still a nice place to stay."

"We had a wonderful time at the Golden Eagle. There were many spaces to gather between the main house, the attached carriage house, the large yard, and the large deck on the first and second story. The surrounding area was also beautiful. A few notes about the place: the were manual A/C units which works well, no fire pit, each of us had good cell service, the water is potable, the nearest grocery store is about 20 minutes away in Davis. Some of the many nearby activities: Blackwater falls (20 mins.), Seneca Rocks (40 mins.), Canaan Valley Resort (8 mins.). Canaan Valley has many summer and winter activities that are good for large groups."
