Incredible Family Getaway Home With Boat Dock
10/10 Excellent
"The house was super clean and had plenty of room for the 5 of us. Bonus finished basement with huge couch and tv. Perfect spot for teenagers, while adults can enjoy the main living room. The spot on the lake was great. Quiet area, boat launch very close, very easy access to beautiful Lake George. Cook Mountain Preserve hiking trails within a mile of house, great views!! Host is very responsive if you need anything. "
Private lakeside cabin for those looking for peace and quiet in Brant Lake.
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our week at camp! It's such a quaint camp in the Adirondacks close to Brant Lake. We prefer Brant Lake to the craziness that is Lake George. The camp is next to a small beach (association) and we expected it to be much busier, but it really wasn't. While there are families around the lake, it really is a quiet oasis. We especially loved the paddleboard and kayaks! Such a nice touch. The porch is lovely for picnics in the evening, and coffee in the morning. We loved our time there! Thank you to our host!"
"Friendly helpful staff, clean, and great for the price. Next door to McDonald's amd Walmart, short walk to good convenience store. Us Adirondack taxi! $5 to downtown $15 to train station from hotel"
"The location is beautiful - a long frontage on Lake George. The condition of the property is, literally, pristine. I am not sure how it manages to be so perfectly maintained and still look like a traditional lake resort. We could not have been more pleased."
"We had a wonderful stay. The property was just as advertised and the hosts provided clear instructions and directions about getting there, where to park, accessing the camp site, etc. We stayed on the overlook site, which had a raised wood platform for the tent and was warmer at night for camping in cold temperatures. Was fun to explore the swimming hole and nearby trails."
Explore the great outdoors at Mount Independence State Historic Site, a lovely green space in Orwell. While you're in the area, stroll along the lakeside.
