"The cottage has been recently updated. The interior looks brand new. The electric fireplace was very nice. I didn't have time to explore the property, because I was there mostly at night. I would definitely stay there again. Cell service isn't great, but it is great if you want to get away from, the stresses from everyday life. Bring an extra blanket if you are there when it is cold outside."

"The communication with property owner wasn’t great. I got to the property and he never sent me a code to unlock the door. I had to drive over an half-hour away to get cellphone service to message the owner for the code. Place is as pictured but there were flying lady bugs all over."

"I will first say that I have been spoiled by REALLY good cottages/cabins over the years, so my opinions are probably skewed. Overall, this was a pretty good stay. When we first arrived and walked in, it seemed a bit creepy, I think just because of all of the antique furniture and decor. However, with that said, it does title itself a "Celtic Cottage," and the decor matches that description. Something I wish I would have noticed in the description beforehand is just how small it is. "This was our 1st trip to Hocking Hills! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and loved our cabin! It had everything we needed and communication with the host was excellent! We especially loved the hot tub after long days of hiking! The big screen tv with all the channel options was nice too, along with excellent wifi! The only downside for us was the location. We didnt realize how far away we were from the trails, stores, restaurants, etc. We spent alot of time driving!! So just keep this in mind...
