「7 Gables was clean and well maintained, the hosts were inviting and helpful, the breakfasts were excellent. Our room was perfect for what we wanted, a quiet restful getaway, instead of a TV being front and center like a hotel room, we had an East facing view of the bay! Got to watch the sunrise over the bay every morning. The room was quiet, we didn’t hear other guests at all. It was a perfect fit for us.」

「This nearly-new hotel is perfectly situated in Pacific Grove, just 2 blocks from the beach and Lover's Point. My room was spacious and well-appointed, with a balcony facing the courtyard. There was some noise from live music and the courtyard lounge, so if you want a quiet room, ask for an outside-facing one. Staff were courteous and helpful, and it was a smooth stay. Would definitely recommend and return to stay again.」

「I have chosen to stay at the Portola Hotel for five consecutive years, and it is always exceptionally pleasant. The location is absolutely perfect. The neighborhood is safe and scenic, making my morning and evening strolls highly enjoyable. A special highlight this year was spotting wild sea otters near the hotel for the first time. It has truly become my go-to hotel in Monterey, and I already look forward to returning.」

「清潔だったが問題点がある。ボックスティッシュの中に、軽く丸めまれた5枚ほどのティッシュペーパーの束が2つあった。1泊5枚で使うのか？私は3泊ですが。また、丸められたティッシュペーパーは不潔で嫌。箱ごと新たなティッシュペーパーをもらった。 古くて綺麗だが、ドアに密閉性がなかった。」
