"We stayed in the south building and it seemed newly renovated. Love the “beach” Colors in the room along with the small kitchenette and the double bathroom sink (with one outside the toilet area). Very clean, staff were attentive, beach was terrific! Location was very good too. My only suggestion - there is a $40/day resort fee. That SHOULD include beach chairs or the use of bikes. While I appreciated the ability to park and the other small perks included in the fee - most of those are standard...

"The room had a great view! It could use updating. The floor needed cleaning! Stove in room had most of eyes disconnected. Overall for price it was okay. "

"Room was very clean. Bathroom was clean but a little worn. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the bar and live band on the deck near the pool. Outside pools were open for our mid May stay but too cold. Inside pool and hot tub were open. Wide variety of guests. Would stay again. "

"Staff was amazing. I’ve been in the hotel industry for 20 years, and I tend to be critical in the visible and invisible signs of a good hotel and this property hit them all. The guy at check in (last name Miller) and the young lady I saw multiple times (carts on Sunday, concierge on Monday) were great. They even made remembered my dogs name and commented on my Costal Carolina gear. Hotel was clean and safe. My son loved the pools. Pet friendly was nice, although I wasn’t exactly sure where to...

"Stay was good. If you have little kids. Watch out for kids in the kid area pool and the adults. Because they don’t care to push you out of the or your kid. So the life guard should be watching for stuff like that also. Pillow in rooms definitely could be more comfortable. Not sure if it was just our room or others. But we have no soap in the shower. Restaurants are a little pricey except for Dunkin Donuts. "

"Overall our stay was fine with a few issues. 1. Location is not the best, would look for other options closer to French Qtr. 2. Thin walls, could hear neighboring rooms. 3. Visible code compliance issues. Door to room did not have smoke gaskets, windows were inoperable could not have been used for emergency egress. 4. No thermostat in room, no control of room temperature. Will not return."

"definitely will be coming back to this resort! i booked the same day and process was smooth and easy!! was only there for one day but has direct access to the beach. many play water areas for the kiddos. truly was more than what expected, for the price it was. there is a $100 deposit on top of paying stay but u get it back if everything’s fine. truly enjoyed!"
