"You just can’t beat this hotel for the price. Sure, it isn’t the fanciest and nicest hotel, but you get a decent place to stay, with a wonderful view, at a very affordable price. It’s also in a good location, if you’re not wanting to be jam packed in with all the hustle and bustle of the restaurants and down town seawall stretch. Breakfast this time definitely left alot to be desired, but it was doable to hold us over until we ate sandwiches on the beach for lunch. If you want to save money to be able to do more things and have fun with your family, this is it!"

"Pool is terrible. No chiller and the water is hot. Also the pool is cloudy and and SLIMMY. Soo much sun tan lotion. IDK how you can do it but get the walk up bar people to use the restroom instead of peeing in the pool. Food and staff are absolutely amazing!"

"This is a decent hotel but the exterior is so offputting that it taints the impression of the hotel overall. The interior is simple, but nice. Also, the air freshener used in the foyer and hallways is so strong that someone with sensitivities/allergies could not stay there."

"The Grand Galvez is one of my favorite places ever and I go several times a year. Jan, is the absolute best and always goes above and beyond for the guests. I had such a wonderful time and she made my birthday so special. It’s such a great location and such a beautiful and historical hotel. I would recommend to everyone to visit.
