"Very nice hotel, the staff was always very kind and helpful, they gave lots of info on the surroundings (and on the bus, which is not easily understandable for a tourist). The single room was actually a bit bigger than I expected from the pictures, which was good, perfectly enough for a single traveler. "had a wonderful stay. Room with beautiful balcony view of ocean. Has A/C . 10 min walk to to beach down a laneway Bathing cap required at hotel pool and you must bring your own beach towels. Delicious 30 E dinner but beach also has loads of restaurants. Overall, lots of small kids, dog owners, and smokers. All of which I don't have any of."

"My wife and I had an absolutely terrific experience at La Villarosa! The property is very beautiful, situated behind a high-wall gate in a quiet and picturesque alley not far from Ischia Porto. The walkway to the hotel is filled with beautiful gardens and plants. The building is a charming labyrinth of old-world, but well-conditioned rooms and chambers, as well as a terrific terrazzo rooftop restaurant with a stunning view of the water, where all meals are taken. On the property is a gorgeous thermal pool surrounded by gardens that was so refreshing for daytime cooling or night-time swims, with curative natural mineral salts. The rooms are simply but classically furnished, very clean, and we even had a small balcony with a nice view of the water. The bathrooms were modern and very clean as well. The food was fantastic...lavish spreads for breakfast, and the reserved lunches and dinners were delicious and service was great. Of noteworthy importance is the amazing level of service provided by the hotel concierge and front desk staff. They are excellent ambassadors for Ischia and our stay there was absolutely enhanced by our interactions with them...they pointed us in directions we had not considered and helped us make great experiences for ourselves. Shout out especially to Christina and Marina....(Ciao from NYC, new friends!!)"
