This place is amazing! Many different hiking trails. Some easy. Some a bit tougher. The “vertical mile challenge trail” is tough for those of us who are out of shape! BRING WATER!!!! Amazing views, chances to spot wildlife, rock climbing (with a permit) and a cute little playground area for the kids. With a reservation you can also camp here too! Check it out if you’re in the area. You will not be disappointed.

"The host was extremely understanding. She addressed any issues with professionalism and courtesy. Communication was great, The host followed up every message sent. I was visiting Statesville due to a family medical situation and this host just made my stay stress-free . "From the wonderful ease of check in with the AMAZING Vickie to entering a room that was absolutely spotless our stay was fabulous! Breakfast was a great way to wake up after a super restful night; homemade waffles, an oatmeal bar and fresh coffee tickled my nose and lead me out of the room even before I could enjoy the huge, amply stocked pristine shower with exquisite water pressure...but I enjoyed it after breakfast! Kudos to the staff who went so far above and beyond to make our stay phenomenal! We will be back! 😍"
