"My husband has always wanted a vacation where there were no schedules to keep. And that is what we got. We had a very relaxing, uneventful stay. My husband fished everyday, pretty much all day in the stocked creek literally in the back yard. I did some crafting and lots of reading. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. The king bed is very comfortable. Check-in/Check-out was simple. WiFi was a little choppy and there is NO cell service. The area is very remote which makes for a very peaceful stay....

"We spent nearly two weeks at this incredible cabin with a spectacular mountain view. Everything that you need is available in this cabin including K-cups for the Keurig coffee maker! Paula and Brian were very helpful and accommodating in resolving a problem we experienced with the gate to access this gated community. We enjoyed the peace, privacy and solitude and recommend staying here if you want to get away from the noise and commotion of everyday living. "

"This house is beautiful as is the view. The set up is perfect for a getaway for two. The bathtub in the primary suite is amazing. The kitchen is mostly well appointed and the views are incredible. "We really enjoyed our stay here. Unfortunately it rained the entire week we were there so we were not able to enjoy the pool and lake with complimentary boats (which were very nice!). We still really enjoyed being in the middle of such a beautiful forest, and going on nice day trips to Boone, Blowing Rocks and some of the farms in the area. Communication with the owner was great. Highly recommend!"

"The cabin was very nice and very well stocked with cooking utensils, supples and linens. It was in close proximity to the clubhouse, lake and pool. The only thing that we didn’t like was the pool was closed for a private event and we weren’t told about that until a short while before it was closed. We were out doing other things and planned to swim in the evening. So that should have been told like early that day or the day before. Kids were disappointed not to swim our last evening there!"
