"The hotel is located on a side street not far from the airport with airport shuttle costing 100K. Breakfast is average on the top floor, 8th floor, at the hotel. To get to the breakfast area, one has to take the elevator to 7th floor then walk upstairs. The room I stayed in is spacious, but the bed sheets had stinky smell which made my clothes smell bad after a night sleeping on the bed. The shower has weak water pressure, and the toilet tank is very small. The toilet water tank does not have enough water to flush the toilet with one flush. Overall, the hotel's quality is below average, and I would not stay there again in my next trip to the airport."

"I chose this hotel because it was within 10-15 minutes walking distance of T1/T2 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh city. I was comfortable walking from the terminal, but this may not be for everyone, so a short taxi ride may be better for others. I booked this hotel because I had a short layover in Ho Chi Minh City overnight. This was a good budget option and provided me a place to rest for a few hours. The hotel seemed decently clean, but a bit dated and tired in certain areas. The staff were friendly enough and the hotel fit my needs. Wifi was good. Although they had complimentary breakfast, I was not able to sample it as I had an early flight. It was quiet and the area seemed safe. It was a good hotel for a short stay. "

"Large clean room with full kitchenette. We enjoy the rooftop pool and happy hour at the rooftop as well. They do not provide transfers from domestic terminal unless you take a transfer bus to the international terminal which was odd. Otherwise good service but the area close to airport is definitely not like staying in the old or French quarter. "

"Five stars, and two specific mentions for the team here. Tuyen was present on my first day, somewhere in the middle, and again on my last — and every single time, he was warm, accommodating, and genuinely present in the way that the best hospitality professionals are. Not performatively gracious. Just consistently good at his job and clearly someone who takes pride in it. On my checkout day — 30 April, around 5:55 pm — V at the front desk went out of her way to let me know a late checkout was available. Proactively, kindly, and without any fuss. It sounds like a small thing, but in practice it saved me from a genuinely stressful scramble: last-minute shopping, repacking on the fly, potentially moving rooms, coordinating on the go. She didn't have to flag it. She did anyway. This is my fifth stay at Mai House over the last four to five years, and part of the reason I keep coming back is exactly this: familiar faces who remember how to make you feel at home in a city that isn't yours. I'll be returning for both business and leisure, and I hope the team remains as strong as it's been."
