"The location here is excellent. I like everything about the hotel except that it's a bit old but not too shabby. The staff is excellent in every way. The breakfast buffet is more that adequate, providing both asian cuisine and traditional westerner style. The bed is a bit hard but I like it that way, your mileage may vary. Overall, I like this cute little hotel in the heart of the city with all restaurants and shopping withing walking distance."

"I liked how the hotel has historical value, it’s the oldest hotel in Vietnam which I did not even realize when I booked it. For something that’s a historical site, it’s actually very affordable compared to the other hotels around it. It’s right next to the opera which is another plus. It’s walking distance to a lot of things, the Saigon Centre, the Ben Thanh market, Bitexco financial tower, the waterbus station. And for an extra $20 per night, I got a bigger room with a balcony view of the opera. Definitely worth the upgrade, it was so nice watching people on the square. Strolling, watching the traffic and watching newly married couples take photos in front of the opera. It was definitely worth the money! Actually pretty cheap given all you’re getting. There is also a lot of tiny shops around and also a lot of spas and food places everywhere. Only thing I didn’t like so much was the spa, it’s so weird how they were asking you upfront to pay before they even serviced you. I found that very odd. And also how they were almost begging for a tip when the service charge was already included. I planned to tip more anyway but when I did tip the lady didn’t even say thank you. That was a huge turn off for. Will definitely skip jasmine massage that’s in the hotel. You’re better off getting spa services from places outside. Probably would be cheaper as well. Otherwise hotel was nice and clean, the staff were very helpful and attentive and courteous. Breakfast was amazing,"

"Posh looking hotel. Nice and clean facilities. Has a badminton 'court' beside the gym which provides a little fun. Great and responsive service. Huge bed that can sleep 3-4 people. Water pressure is too strong, not painful but waste water. Lights in the room turns on by itself in the middle of the night but was solved by the technician with a change of the display panel."

"- Room is elegant. I like the style. - Lobby has a good atmosphere day and night. Nice cocktail and singing. - Pool is old fashioned, not connecting with any big wardrobe space. You can walk in directly. - Staff is warm but needs more attention on service. Sometimes I feel confused about some gesture. "

"We had a wonderful stay! The staff couldn’t have been lovelier. Everyone is so willing to help and bring a smile to your face. The room was clean and exactly as pictured. Good location. Great breakfast. We will definitely come back and stay again! "
