"This place is fantastic. A close walk to the train station- convenient walk to everything and the place is great. Large, comfortable, really well appointed and immaculately clean. Everyone loved it. The soaking rub was fantastic and it kept the water hot for over an hour!!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Takayama. We stayed as a family with three kids and everyone said it was their favourite place we’ve stayed at!!"

"Travellers should be aware that there are no chairs with legs at this property (examine photos carefully). We ate all meals sitting on the floor. Any work we had to do on our laptops was done on the floor. If we played cards in the evening together, this was also done sitting on the floor. There are only two bean bags, so if four of us wanted to relax, two of us had to go to sit on our beds. There was nowhere to unpack our suitcases - no wardrobes, drawers or shelves, no bedside lockers. There...

"One of the best houses we happened to stay. Brand new high level of everything, location can’t be better-10 min walk from the station, 5 min walk from the main attraction. Just is great and fast communication. Must have ! "

"The smell in the house is awful everything smells like old mold and nothing is updated. Its very cold downstairs and hot upstairs. If you like smelly clothes and short to railroad this is it. Retro for some people but really paint is not that expensive and some updated heating and cooling would be nice."
