"Our experience at Hotel Around/Accend in Takayama was fantastic, and we enthusiastically suggest it to our friends and family. The hotel is conveniently located near the train and bus station and old town shopping area, is brand new with a laundry room and lockers, offers excellent service, and has spacious rooms. If we find ourselves in the Hida/Takayama area again, we will definitely choose to stay at this hotel."

"Small charming boutique hotel. Much nicer than the bigger more generic hotels in the area. Rooms are tight but the staff were helpful and polite. Coffee was great. Maybe afternoon dessert (simple cookies or similar) would have made a nice addition. Overall, very nice stay."

"During my stay@ Takayama Green hotel, I had forgotten to take my handbag with me when I stepped out of their executive club room. My handbag contained my son's and my passports & wallet. To my relief, the hotel front desk contacted me immediately when their staff found my handbag. Everything in my handbag was left untouched. "
