"Travellers should be aware that there are no chairs with legs at this property (examine photos carefully). We ate all meals sitting on the floor. Any work we had to do on our laptops was done on the floor. If we played cards in the evening together, this was also done sitting on the floor. There are only two bean bags, so if four of us wanted to relax, two of us had to go to sit on our beds. There was nowhere to unpack our suitcases - no wardrobes, drawers or shelves, no bedside lockers. There...

The soaking rub was fantastic and it kept the water hot for over an hour!!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Takayama.
