"Very good spot for couples or single people! Small and cozy room with a tatami -- just outside of Asakusa -- and with a metro (and nice markets) very much nearby."

"Spectacular location, helpful staff, & well maintained. The shower situation is just a bit too foreign & convoluted for me. I tried it, but I’ll have to stick to my mores. The sauna was a plus though. Overall, if you’re up to try out the Japanese bathhouse onsen experience, then book this location 100%."

The aesthetic is gorgeous. Our room was very clean and there was a private lounge on the 6th floor for hostel guests to relax in with a fully equipped kitchen. The food and drinks from the cafe and bar were amazing.

The receptionist was very kind, and helpful. We were able to buy detergent at the front, and wash our clothes easily. The room was compact, and had a small desk to use if needed. They have a wall of recommended restaurants in the area which is very helpful. Overall the experience was great.

The room is small, oh no tiny. But it is Japan. Do not expect affordable room size. Almost all hotels in Tokyo I’ve visited were small. I mentioned this place not for the room size, It was neat and clean. The people were kind and helpful. I’d like to stay few more days if I could. I totally recommend this place to my friend.

Good and helpful staff, not expensive, comfortable, near many good restaurants and konbini stores, good location. I stayed 23 nights and was really happy and comfortable.

Asakusa Fukudaya Hotel was exactly what I was looking for a weeks stay in Tokyo on a budget. The hotel is only a 15 minute walk to the Minami-Senju Metro station. On the way to the station, I usually stopped at the 7-Eleven for a coffee and doughnut if in the morning. At Haneda airport, I bought two, 3-day passes for the Metro that really were worth it. There is a grocery store and a Lawson's convenient store one street over from the hotel. You have a fridge in the room if needed. The hotel...
