incredible beauty but don't need all day to see it. Springs felt great. Meal was icing on the cake for the trip.

We should have listened to the concierge in our hotel when we asked about Tabacon - they don't recommend it. It was crazy expensive - $70/pp (and that is the 6-10pm deal – usually $85). There was so much wrong with our experience – starting with the fact that there were no instructions on what to do once you change into your bathing suit – it was dark, and there were no signs on where to go or what to do – so we ended up wandering around the property for about 10 minutes, trying to figure out what ‘hot spring” we were supposed to go into. The lady in the towel room tried to explain to me in Spanish what the story was, but I only understood about ½ of what she was saying, and there was no other guidance. They should have had someone at check in that explained everything – but the place felt like a money grab and the guys at the front desk weren’t very helpful. We finally figured out what we were supposed to do – but my mistake was not bringing a pair of water shoes, so was limited in what exactly I could do since many of the bottoms of the springs were rocky. So don't forget to bring your water shoes if you decide to go. On top of all of that, the dinner that was included was PRETTY MUCH ONE OF THE WORST MEALS I HAVE HAD IN MY ADULT LIFE.” Seriously – almost everything I tried was not edible. They even managed to screw up the pizza and pasta. The hot springs, once we finally found them, we unique and very refreshing - so that's why I give them 2/5 stars.

It rained the day we went, so the springs weren't hot, mildy warm at best.
